As a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the investigational clinical pharmacist provides the full range of distributive, clinical, consultative, research, and/or administrative pharmaceutical services. Incumbents select, compound, manufacture, purchase, dispense, and/or preserve drugs, medicines, and other therapeutic agents; serve as members and consultants on treatment or diagnostic teams; disseminate drug information to members of the hospital and clinic staff and interested community groups; may participate in hospital or clinic research projects or perform pharmaceutical research. May rotate to different areas/locations within the pharmacy based on department needs. Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: B.S. in Pharmacy from accredited college/university
Experinece: One (1) year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience. Two (2) years highly preferred. One (1) year of PGY1 residency. Investigational experience and/or Oncology experience highly preferred.
License/Certification: PRM-CA- Licensed as a Pharmacist by the California Board of Pharmacy and BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS within one (1) month of hire
