This role is for a Cloud UNIX DevOps/Production support engineer that will collaborate with multiple application teams to take them to Hybrid cloud environment. The resource is accountable for partnering with various teams (internal and 3rd party technical teams) in identifying options, driving reviews and detailed analysis, developing solutions and providing technical direction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supports complex troubleshooting efforts across various technologies and services of Cloud applications.
Influence a team of Senior Support engineers to address their technical hurdles and challenges in supporting applications to Google/AWS cloud release and migrations.
Partners with feature teams to actively understand their development and cloud stack and identify the gaps in their implementation.
As well as understand their cloud architecture and infrastructure requirements.Translate these requirements to implementation stories and tasks for our production support team.
Recognizes and implements automation opportunities enabling production support activities. Focus on efficient use of CICD processes and tools for cloud migration with special attention to characteristics like reuse, scalability, resilience and performance of the migration solutions.
Consistently share best practices and improve processes across other LOBs,Tech ops and engineers.

5years minimum Linux(RHEL) Systems Administration. - Certification a plus!
Bachelor's Degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering or military experience2-3 years relevant experience.
Strong L2/L3 Networking Skills and troubleshooting. (VPN, Routing, SSH)
Understanding of Sql and writing simple queries. (Mysql)
Experience with recognized industry patterns, methodologies, and techniques
Experience in production support, micro-services and distributed architecture applications.
Must have demonstrated at least 4-7 years experience in production support doing incident management, problem management, capacity, and change management
Must have cloud and dev ops understanding.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to change.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal IT On-Prem towers, application development teams and business partners.
Work autonomously and be self-motivated and self-driven.
Ability to learn & analyze complex, interconnected business processes / systems- Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects in a fast-paced and changing environment
Ability to work in an Agile environment. Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years relevant experience.- Understanding of common network protocols, system admin and application development.
Agile Development Methodology experience.
Working experience and implementations using AWS / Google Cloud Stack
(AWS Cloud front,Cloud Watch, OpsWork, Elastic Beanstalk, S3). /or
(GCP Cloud Storage,CloudPath,CloudSdk,CloudDNS,CloudPeering)
CICD tools (Jenkins, Github, Git, Maven, Docker, Vagrant,Atom).
Working experience with application environment monitoring tools.
Google/AWS cloud certifications.
Developing automation scripts (unix shell scripting, Chef, Groovy etc.)
Must have automation design experience.
