Laura M.

Nurse Coordinator

For Laura, choosing Stanford Hospital & Clinics as her professional home was an easy choice. As a Bay Area native and nursing graduate from California State University, Hayward, she had long known about the Palo Alto campus. But it wasn’t until she participated in a summer internship that she realized how much she wanted to work here. Today, Laura is a Nurse Coordinator for the Cutaneous Oncology Clinic in the Cancer Center. After only a year in oncology, Laura says she is surprised by how much she loves the work, “I find it so interesting and cutting-edge and I feel so lucky to be a part of the work that we are doing.”
